Ghudchadi is a Bollywood romantic comedy film. The director of the movie is Binoy Gandhi and the writer is Deepak Kapur Bhardwaj. Nidhi Dutta, Binoy Gandhi, Bhushan Kumar, and Krishan Kumar are the producers who produce it under the banner of Keep Dreaming Pictures and T-Series. It stars Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Parth Samthaan, and Khushalii Kumar in the lead roles along with Aruna Irani.
Ghudchadi Movie Story
Set in Delhi, Ghudchadi is based on the lives of Chirag and Devika. Chirag lives with his retired army officer dad, Colonel Veer, and his grandmother, Kalyani Devi.
He wants to begin his start-up that produces odorless and comfortable men’s underwear. Meanwhile, Chirag meets Devika at his best friend’s wedding and starts to fall for her. Will destiny unite them? Watch the movie to find out.
Ghudchadi Movie Review
Ghudchadi movie is a one-time watch and those who enjoy watching family drama kind of movies will enjoy this one too. The movie is shot at beautiful locations with golf courses, gardens, beautiful houses, and shooting ranges. Despite the film being a little old-school, one cannot deny the fact that it is a complete family drama. However, the dialogue delivery and the script are weak. Another drawback is that there are some sexist dialogues in the movie.
At times, it also seems to make fun of the Indian rituals and customs. Nevertheless, it brings back the brilliant trio of actors including Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, and Aruna Irani. Although the magic of the 90s duo seems to be lacking because of the narrative, their acting skills are exceptional. Sanjay Dutt, as usual, is mind-blowing with his acting prowess and dialogue delivery. You will feel nostalgic watching him on the screen.
Raveen Tandon also steals the show with her beautiful persona and apt expressions. Additionally, Aruna Irani appears with her ageless beauty and great acting skills. Khushalii Kumar and Parth Samthaan’s performances were also decent considering they are newcomers. The songs Punjabi Munde and Dil Vasda make for a pleasant watch. The overall experience would have been much better with some good punchlines.
Final Verdict
Ghudchadi is a romantic comedy film that will give a lot of nostalgia especially because of the cast. The narrative is good but could have been a lot better. It is a rollercoaster ride filled with romance, joy, drama, and emotions. Although there are some flaws in the movie, there are some positive aspects as well to look at. So this can be a good one-time watch. We rate this movie 3 out of 5 stars.
