Gyaarah Gyaarah Story
The narrative revolves around two police officers who are in two different timelines. Shaurya Anthwal is from the 1990s, and Yug Arya is from 2016. However, the two cops communicate with each other exactly at 11:11.
They communicate through a walkie-talkie for just 60 seconds. Additionally, both of them help each other to solve various cases. However, this also creates a chain of events that reportedly changes the past as well as the present.
Gyaarah Gyaarah Series Review
Gyaarah Gyaarah successfully adapts the true narrative of its original series but also has its unique identity. The series remains engaging and interesting throughout the duration. The best part that keeps you hooked is that each episode of the series ends on a cliffhanger. The narrative is also full of twists and turns that keep the guessing game alive. It perfectly brings together crime, mystery, and human drama. Additionally, the series also effectively covers the emotional journey of its characters.
The direction, writing, and visual storytelling are very impressive. Meanwhile, the cast of Gyaarah Gyaarah did a brilliant job. Raghav Juyal has stepped out of his usual comedic roles but equally impresses with his performance. This proves his versatility and confidence. Dhairya Karwa also showcases various emotions with perfection. Kritika Kamra gets so immersed in the role that the show feels incomplete without her. Apart from them, all other supporting cast members also play their parts with perfection.
However, the show somewhere falls short of giving proper explanations. For a potential second season, the series has to answer many questions. Another major drawback is that the series has a lot of flashbacks. So this somewhat tampers the pacing of the show. Although the story might sometimes feel dragged, it is a must-watch series for those who are a fan of time travel and thriller genres. The editing is also where the show manages to excel.
Final Verdict
The series is a great addition to the Indian thriller genre. It will keep you entertained with good twists and turns which will keep you guessing until the end. Although there are several flaws, it does offer a fresh perspective on the Indian web series. We rate this series 3.5 out of 5 stars.
