Ileana talked candidly in the interview with TOI about her battle with postpartum depression, a psychological condition that some women experience following childbirth. She admitted that she was still going through it and that adjusting to the changes in her body and emotions was difficult. She also disclosed that she has encountered some judgment and criticism from others who disparaged her spouse and her union.
Nothing will adequately prepare you for the reality of postpartum depression, according to Ileana. I’m happy I had a strong support network at home and a group of medical professionals looking out for me. Parental guilt is a real topic. I recall crying while I was alone in my room.
“I know it sounds really stupid, but my son is sleeping in the other room, and I am missing him,” I said to my partner when he inquired about my condition. You experience a range of strong emotions after giving birth to a child. I’m still experiencing it. Mike is an incredible collaborator, and I am grateful for that.”
Struggle With Mental Health And The Importance Of Partner’s Support
The performer talked candidly about the highs and lows of motherhood and her struggles with mental health after giving child. Ileana also conveyed her appreciation to Michael for being her rock and sympathetic to her predicament. She added that he had assisted her in caring for the baby, wiped her tears, laughed, and given her embraces when she needed them. She said that she is learning to be gentle to herself and accept her imperfections and that she could burst with love for her son.
The star called her lover Michael Dolan “her rock” and expressed her heartfelt appreciation for him. She responded,
“There’s so much speculation,” when asked if she and her boyfriend were married. That’s all I have to say about it. I mean, there’s nothing wrong with a little mystery. To be honest, I’m not sure how much I want to discuss this aspect of my life. It originates from a section where I had previously discussed my relationship. The way some people discussed it back then didn’t sit well with me. I can take criticism aimed at me, but I find it uncomfortable when others disparage my partner or my family.”
DNA India has reported that Ileana and Michael are already married. Weeks before she revealed her pregnancy, on May 13, 2023, the pair are said to have tied the wedding. Ileana has kept her personal life quiet and has neither verified nor refuted the rumors that she is married. She only shared a photo of Michael with her followers on Instagram during a romantic dinner date in July 2023.

Ileana is well-known for her parts in movies like Barfi, Raid, Baadshaho and Rustom.
