The Jhanak episode from today, January 3, 2024, opens with Jhanak ascending the stairs to reveal the truth about her marriage. Meanwhile, Arshi berates Anirudh for being insensitive and expresses her resentment toward him. All chastise Anirudh for standing with Jhanak even after she was married and even after Arshi had rescheduled their wedding.

Arshi Prompts Jhanak To Spill Her Secret
After some time, Jhanak shows up on the stairs and informs Arshi that only Anirudh knows a secret. This prompts Arshi to demand that Anirudh reveal the truth right away. After declaring her marriage valid, Jhanak states that others question her. Basus persistently questions both Jhanak and Arshi about who their spouses are.
Arshi then pushes her to reveal her spouse’s name and questions her sincerity. Tanuja and Shubho are perplexed about how she saw Anirudh after marriage and even going onto his property.
Jhanak Gets Unconscious
As she climbs the stairs, Tanuja questions her firmly about the details of her marriage. Jhanak feels extremely weak, and her feet begin to shake. She abruptly loses consciousness and falls down the stairs while making the vow that she will go back to Kashmir as soon as her health stabilizes.
While Apu and Anirudh are racing to save Jhanak, Anirudh is reprimanded by Arshi for being unduly possessive of her. He defends Jhanak’s rights, which prompts Arshi to argue with Anirudh because she doesn’t think there’s a connection between Jhanak and Anirudh’s confession. Arshi ignores Anirudh’s comments because he believes only he knows the secret, but Anirudh brings Jhanak into his lap.
As he dashes upstairs to Jhanak’s room, Arshi becomes even more displeased and incensed by Anirudh’s continued concern for Jhanak, leading her to claim that Anirudh has shifted his attitude toward her.
Arshi Returns
The family clarifies that this is not the case, saying that Arshi is asked to set the wedding date by Tanuja, Shubho, and the Basu family, but she expresses no desire to be married.
While Jhanak is being treated upstairs, Anirudh calls Dr. Ghosh, who arrives to assess Jhanak’s condition. When they return to the Mukherjee residence, Arshi surprises Vinayak and Shristi by telling them that Jhanak is married. Shrishti then remarks that Jhanak’s spouse might not be in a relationship. Asking Arshi to exercise caution, Shrishti seems to hint at something that worries and concerns her about Arshi.
