The actress recently shared a behind-the-scenes video showcasing her transformation into Indira Gandhi. The video gives glimpses of her makeover as she takes on the role of India’s first and only female Prime Minister for her film Emergency.

On January 6, 2025, the second trailer of Emergency has been released. The trailer received a good response from the audience. It was trending at number 1 on X. The film was scheduled for September 4, 2024 release. However, it was postponed due to certification issues. Now the wait is over as Emergency is finally arriving on January 17, 2025. The intense political thriller covers the controversial period of the 21-month emergency rule pressed by Indira Gandhi. The film features Kangana Ranaut, Anupam Kher, Milind  Soman, Mahima Chaudhry, Shreyas Talpade, and the late Satish Kaushik.
