Kanguva, directed by Siva, stars Suriya, Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, Yogi Babu, Natarajan Subramaniam, and KS Ravikumar. It was released on November 14, 2024. Kanguva Budget
According to multiple reports, producers Studio Green and UV Creations had a massive budget of Rs 300 crore to create Kanguva. Around 16 percent of this Rs 300 crore was spent on the salary of the star cast.
Suriya
Reports say that Suriya charged around Rs 50 crore for Etharkkum Thunindhavan, his last film. He has been becoming very popular in recent years. He has been very supportive of director Siva by charging a majorly less amount than usual. According to the reports, Suriya charged Rs 39 crore for Kanguva, a 22 percent decrease in his paycheque.
Bobby Deol
After his performance in Animal, Bobby Deol has become the director’s go-to villain. Animal was directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and for a lead they had Ranbir Kapoor for this, Bobby charged Rs 4-5 crore. He charged Rs 5 crore for Kanguva, almost similar to Animal and Thalapathy 69.
Disha Patani Salary
Disha Patani’s paycheque for Kanguva is Rs 3 crore. It is 50 percent higher than her last success Kalki 2898AD. She had an impressive hike in her paycheque.
Kanguva was a debut movie for both Bobby Deol and Disha Patani in the Tamil (Kollywood) industry. They have performed well. They have set a very high bar for themselves in South Indian cinema.
