Kartik Aaryan is one of the most promising actors in Bollywood. He is a self-made actor with no family background. In April, Dharma Productions announced that Kartik Aaryan is no longer a part of Karan Johar’s upcoming movie Dostana 2. The fans of Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan are disappointed with the news. He was to star with Lakshya and Janhvi Kapoor in the movie. There were speculations that there was a fallout between Kartik Aaryan and Karan Johar.
In a recent interview, Kartik Aaryan said that he won’t talk about his exit from Karan Johar’s film. He also added that he is not a part of any Bollywood camps. Kartik Aaryan said he has carved the niche in the industry with his talent. Talking about his journey in Bollywood at Agenda AajTak 2021, Kartik said,
“Main kisi camp ka part nahi hoon aur main aaj tak apni filmein ki hai, main khud apne talent pe yahaan pe aaya hoon aur aage bhi aise badta rahunga. I’m really happy ki main apna ek filmography bana raha hoon. (I am not part of any camp. I have reached here because of my talent and will continue to do so in the future. I am really happy that I’m making a filmography of my own).”
Even Dharma Productions’ released an official announcement on the same. The statement read,
“Due to professional circumstances, on which we have decided to maintain a dignified silence – we will be recasting Dostana 2, directed by Collin D’Cunha. Please wait for the official announcement soon. – Dharma Productions.”
Kartik Aaryan’s last release Dhamaka gained appreciation from the audience. The critics and public gave good reviews of the movie and applauded the performance of the lead cast. Meanwhile, Kartik Aaryan is shooting for his upcoming movie Shehzada in New Delhi, a remake of south Indian blockbuster Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. Rohit Dhawan is directing it and has Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala in pivotal roles. It will be released on November 4, 2022.
