Kaun Banega Crorepati is back with its new season, Season 13. It will air on Sony TV from August 23rd onwards. The season’s theme is “Jawaab Aap Hi Ho.” It will once again feature Amitabh Bachchan as the host, celebrating everyone’s right to “gyaan, dhyaan, and samman.”
In a statement, Big B has expressed his delight at returning to KBC, saying that he can’t get enough of the show. Big B stated that he was looking forward to welcoming the studio audience back as he celebrates his 21-year affiliation with the team. Amitabh Bachchan said,
“It was probably for the first time, last season, that the studio audience wasn’t a part of the show and we saw a major change in the lifelines as well. I for one truly missed them and their energy… it’s infectious! I am happy that the studio audience is back this season with a newfound vigor and so is the lifeline – Audience Poll. It’s an enriching experience for me, each year, to be surrounded by contestants from all walks of life and I look forward to an engaging and fulfilling gameplay. These contestants inspire me in every way.”
Siddhartha Basu, a consultant on KBC, added that it’s encouraging to know that the show is still a great family favorite that appeals to people from all walks of life and all ages. “Each season, we’ve had participants come on to the hot seat from throughout the country,” he said, expanding on the season’s theme. 1. No Fastest Finger First

The Fastest finger first round has been renamed ‘Fastest Finger First – Triple Test.’ It is the most significant change in the gameplay. Instead of answering topics in chronological order, participants will have to answer three general knowledge questions with four possibilities this year. A leaderboard will display each competitor’s time. The candidate who answers all three questions correctly and faster than the rest will advance to the hot seat.
2. Audience Poll Lifeline Is Back

With the return of the studio audience, the lifeline’s “audience poll” will return this season. Flip The Question, 50:50, and Ask The Expert would remain the other three lifelines.
3. Shaandaar Shukravaar

In the previous two seasons, Amitabh Bachchan hosted real-life heroes in the Karamveer episode. This Season it will be celebrated as Shaandaar Shukravaar every Friday. In these special episodes, celebrity guests will play the game for a social cause. In the first Shaandaar Shukravaar episode, you will see Sourav Ganguly and Virender Sehwag taking the Hot Seat.
4. Timer Name Changed To Dhuk Dhuki Ji

The game timer has been renamed ‘Dhuk-Dhuki Ji.’ It keeps contestants on the edge of their seats. Given that it makes everyone’s heart race as it ticks, it’s a fitting name.
5. Fresh Look With New LEDs

The new set has a unique appearance, look and feel to it. While LEDs light the floors, the application of Augmented Reality will provide even more zing. In addition, a new motorized virtual ceiling has been added, as well as new gameplay graphics.
KBC Play Along will be available on the SonyLIV app for the audience. The audience can play the game live and earn interesting prizes. In the last week of the season, the highest scorers may be invited to join Amitabh Bachchan for the real game. Kaun Banega Crorepati 13 will start on Monday, August 23 at 9 PM on Sony TV.
