Kesari Chapter 2 Trailer
The 3-minute, 2-second trailer kicks off with Akshay Kumar as C. Sankaran Nair, firing hard-hitting questions at General Dyer, the man behind the Jallianwala Bagh massacre. While Dyer shamelessly brands the victims as “terrorists,” Nair shuts him down with a powerful counter—“Were the innocent infants who died that day also terrorists?” This moment instantly sets the tone—Nair is a fearless lawyer, ready to take on the British Empire in his relentless fight for justice.
From the get-go, we see Nair battling it out in court, charging the British Crown with genocide after one of the darkest chapters in India’s history. But he’s not alone. Ananya Panday’s character, Dilreet Gill, stands strong beside him as an assistant lawyer, breaking barriers at a time when female lawyers were rare in pre-Independence India.
However, Nair’s biggest challenge comes in the form of R. Madhavan. He plays Neville McKinley, the formidable lawyer defending the British Empire. What follows is an electrifying courtroom showdown—a gripping clash of ideologies, relentless arguments, and buried secrets that could change everything we thought we knew about Jallianwala Bagh.
