The movie has some good performances, twists, and chase scenes. The story starts well but ends up being monotonous. Ishaan Khatter delivers one of the finest performances in Khaali Peeli. This was a different role for him and he did it exceptionally well. Ananya Panday was decent much better than her previous performance from the movie Pati, Patni Aur Woh. Jaideep Ahlawat fits too well in the role of a badass. Maqbool Khan’s direction was good. The script turns out a flat that spoils the fun of the movie. The songs are unnecessary addition in the movie that pauses the movie and breaks the momentum. It will take you to the era of the ’70s and ’80s of Bollywood masala movies. Overall, it is a time pass movie and can be watched this weekend without any expectations. We give 3 stars out of 5.
