Akshay Kumar, Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Ammy Virk, Aditya Seal, Pragya Jaiswal, and Fardeen Khan starrer Khel Khel Mein dips further on Day 2 at the Box Office. It is directed by Mudassar Aziz. The start was not good for the film on Independence Day. On the other side, Stree 2 is in riot mode and created Aatank at the box office. Khel Khel Mein Day 2 Box Office Collection
The film does not start well, and on Day 2 it slips down further. Khel Khel Mein collects Rs 2.42 crore on Day 2. The total collection is Rs 7.65 crore. The numbers are not promising and things are looking bleak for Akshay Kumar’s film. Still, on Day 2, the film did better than John Abraham’s Vedaa.
Praneet Samaiya wrote in his review, ‘Akshay Kumar and his team will make you laugh with this interesting tale of trust, love, secrets, and betrayal. Some scenes in the film seem dragged, but the best part is curiosity is maintained throughout.’ He gave the film a 4-star rating.
Despite warm reviews, Khel Khel Mein does not perform the way it was expected. Even with the long Independence Day weekend, the film will face tough competition from Stree 2 as it continues to dominate the ticket sales. With a further drop on Day 2, Khel Khel Mein will finish its box office run with less than Rs 40 crore lifetime collection.
