The film stars Akshay Kumar, Fardeen Khan, Vaani Kapoor, Ammy Virk, Taapsee Pannu, Aditya Seal, and Pragya Jaiswal. It is directed by Mudassar Aziz. The film is the official remake of a 2016 Italian comedy film, Perfect Strangers.

He wrote in his review, ‘Akshay Kumar and his team will make you laugh with this interesting tale of trust, love, secrets, and betrayal. Director Mudassar Aziz has kept the narrative quite engaging, but what’s more interesting are the characters’ insecurities that feel relatable. He has presented the sensitive subjects maturely. Some scenes in the film seem dragged, but the best part is curiosity is maintained throughout. Khel Khel Mein is a fabulous family entertainer filled with humor, emotions, and solid performances.’
