On Thursday, August 4, Koffee with Karan episode, 5 made its global release on Disney Plus Hotstar. Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor, the stars of Laal Singh Chaddha, were present on the Koffee couch. Karan Johar recently released the promo for this episode. The caption of the promo was “A duo you Khan-not miss”. On Disney Plus Hotstar, episode 4 was recently released with Vijay and Ananya. Aamir Answers Karan As To Why He Is Doing A Remake Of Forrest Gump
Karan asks Aamir about his decision to adapt Forrest Gump. It is a film that has won several prestigious honors. Forrest Gump is one of the most well-known films and one of Tom Hanks’ finest performances. Aamir then reveals that Atul Kulkarni first discussed the idea for the film 14 years ago. It was during Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na. Aamir wasn’t happy when Atul suggested a story for the Hindi adaptation of Forrest Gump. After two years, when he heard the script, there was a change in his perspective. Obtaining the rights to remake the film took 8–9 years for Aamir. If Aamir is concerned about the box office, Kjo inquires. Aamir admits to being under stress and that he would be sad if the movie didn’t succeed.
Karan And Aamir Talking About The Current Shift From Bollywood To South Cinema
In Koffee With Karan episode 5, Aamir and Karan discuss why Bollywood films are failing while films from the South have succeeded. KJo tells Aamir that he is in charge of the current shift. He claimed that films like Taare Zameen Par, Dil Chahta Hai, Lagaan, and Rang De Basanti were to blame. All of the films Karan cited have emotions, according to Aamir Khan. People felt the emotions in these films. Aamir advises choosing a relevant subject that viewers will love seeing.
How Do Aamir And Kareena Handle Their Complex Family Dynamics?
Aamir praises Reena and Kiran, his ex-wives, for their compassion. He claims that there is a lot of genuine care. Even Kareena featured in the ad when the casting director played a video of a fresh actor for them. Aamir and the team then thought to cast Kareena as Rupa. Then, as Bebo is required to perform a screen test for the movie, Karan makes fun of her. Kareena claims she has never previously taken a screen test for a role.
So when she had to do the screen test, it came as a surprise. Saif Ali Khan inspired Bebo. They discussed how only Aamir could get her to do it. She happily completed the test. Nevertheless, she was chosen to portray Rupa by Aamir and the cast before they even saw the audition. They chose her because they admired how she rehearsed the line.
Aamir Talks About K3G After Karan And Kareena Discuss How They Find Him Boring At Parties
The conversation shifts to Aamir and how boring he is at parties. According to Aamir, loud music at parties causes ear discomfort. Bebo claims that’s how parties should go: people come, get drunk, then dance to music from movies. The conversation at the party goes on, demonstrating Aamir’s assertion that they might be boring. Next, the discussion shifts to Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. We find out that Aamir doesn’t like K3G. Although, he loves Kareena’s character Poo. Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna is not Aamir’s favorite film either. He enjoys Lust Stories and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.

The two celebrities in this episode were seen asking each other uncomfortable questions. This was an “intervention of sorts,” according to Karan. Aamir Khan continued to show interest in the remaining questions even after the segment was over. On a scale of 1 to 10, he asks Kareena to rate his sense of fashion. The question led Bebo and Karan to start laughing. Then Kareena Kapoor says, “Non-applicable,” in her signature Poo style. Aamir responds, “She means there is no fashion sense” to this.
When the filmmaker asks Kareena Kapoor to answer once again in the character of Poo, she says, “Minus.” Aamir Khan then admits that he has an odd relationship with clothing. He claims that his ex-wife Kiran Rao is frequently irritated by his clothing choices. They also made fun of Aamir’s working style of 200 days and how Akshay finishes movies in 30 days.
Karan Asks Kareena About Sex After Having Children
