The 28th August 2023 episode of Kumkum Bhagya begins with Akshay questioning Ranbir if he likes his wife, to which Ranbir responds that he does and may do anything he wants. Later, Divya is in Mihika’s room, informing her that she would share their room since she got engaged today. Just afterward, Manpreet and Vishakha approach Mihika and inform her that they want to protect her from an evil eye. Mihika expresses gratitude to God for providing a suitable mate, Ranbir. Ranbir Misbehaves With Prachi
When Ranbir enters the kitchen intoxicated, Prachi is in the middle of turning out the lights. Prachi complains to him about how difficult life is for her, and Ranbir accuses her of doing the same. He also claims he got engaged to Mihika to show Prachi he has no feelings for her. Prachi informs him that since he has saved Mihika, they are destined to be together. When Ranbir becomes enraged, he aggressively declares his love for Prachi.
Prachi Hits Ranbir
Meanwhile, Akshay arrives and finds Prachi frozen in place while Ranbir attempts to kiss her. Prachi, on the other hand, pushes Ranbir away and slaps him hard. Ranbir recognizes what he is doing and apologizes, but Prachi departs angrily. Akshay arrives and will take on Ranbir, but Ranbir has already collapsed on the floor in a state of intoxication.
Vishakha Advises Ranbir
Later, Akshay informs Vishakha that Ranbir has his sights set on Prachi, to which Vishaka advises him to be cool. Akshay also tells her that Ranbir was attempting to kiss Prachi, something he cannot ignore. Vishakha inquires about Prachi’s response, and upon learning that she has pushed Ranbeer away, she advises Akshay not to go to Prachi right now and to think rationally. She encourages Akshay to first gain Prachi’s friendship before attempting to be her spouse since Prachi is not the type of girl who would let just anybody approach her.
Akshay’s Plan
Prachi, however, rushes to her room in disbelief and mourns God’s inequity. She informs herself that she loves Ranbeer and knows he loves her, but they can’t get together. Later, Akshay employs a private investigator to look into who Ranbir has dated. The investigator requests two days, after which he will have all of the reports. After that, Akshay reflects that Ranbir made a tremendous blunder by trying to kiss Prachi and that he will show him who Akshay Tondon is by thoroughly ruining him.
Ranbir Feels Ashamed
The next morning, Mihika enters Ranbir’s room and informs him that he was discovered wasted outside the kitchen floor due to excessive drinking. After that, she urges Ranbir to get dressed and come out since there were a lot of disturbances last night, and everyone would be uncomfortable if they didn’t see her. Ranbir afterward feels remorseful about what transpired the night before.
Akshay Apologises To Prachi
Akshay apologizes to Prachi for his conduct the night before and requests her to give him another opportunity. Seeing Prachi’s obstinacy, Akshay wants her to assure him that she will consider forgiving him. Meanwhile, Ranbir is contemplating what he should do to make things right with Prachi and is unaware that he has come down in search of her. Pallavi later appears, surprising Ranbir, but he is only interested in Prachi.
