The October 9th, 2023, episode of Kundali Bhagya begins with Shaurya entering his room and feeling furious to see Shanaya sleeping peacefully on his bed as he throws water on her face. After being startled awake, Shanaya asks Shaurya what he has done. Shaurya informs Shanaya that he has no affection for her at all in the meantime. Shanaya recalls everything that transpired only a short while ago as she looks astonished and wonders why Shaurya is saying that.
Shaurya informs her that everyone in the Luthra clan, including Nidhi, Karan, and herself, heard what she had to say. After some time, Shaurya informs Shanaya that he wants her to go downstairs and tell the rest of the family that what she said was made up and meant nothing. While Shanaya takes pleasure in the moment of triumph after witnessing Shaurya lose control, she expresses her regret that he must endure this. Shanaya’s Strategy
Shanaya convinces herself outside Shaurya’s room that she would be crazy to miss this fantastic chance. After some time, she devises a plan to win over Luthra’s family so that Shaurya will be forced to marry her regardless of his preference. Nidhi notices Shanaya first as she descends and reprimands her brutally for ignoring her caution and approaching Shaurya.
The Luthras are surprised by Nidhi’s rude behavior, and Karan chastises her for her behavior towards a visitor who also happens to be Palki’s sister. Shanaya doesn’t say anything, as Nidhi explains that because Shaurya is well-known and from the upper class, a lady from the middle class like Shanaya will never be able to marry him.
Karan Explains Nidhi
Nidhi is stopped by Rishabh, who informs her that the family’s elders are there and will be the ones to decide who may or cannot marry Shaurya. In the meantime, Mahesh cautions everyone from making a spectacle out of something still in the early stages. In addition, Karan informs Nidhi that since they are Luthras, they do not casually discuss social strata and that the only relationships that matter to him are those based on love. Palki’s connection to Dadi and the rest of the family is used as an example, and he assures her that nothing is more significant than that.
Everyone Feels Nostalgic
Nidhi tries to humiliate Shanaya once again. Rakhi asks Nidhi to stop talking and that it’s time to remember that Shaurya’s mother also belonged to the Middle class. Rakhi explains to Nidhi that Preeta entered their lives as a doctor but quickly won everyone over and made this family her own. Nidhi reacts angrily when Preeta is mentioned. Rakhi says she never anticipated to discover another girl like Preeta but that she sees Preeta’s shadow in Palki. She lists all of Preeta’s many traits that made this family happy. When Preeta is mentioned, everyone starts to feel sentimental, and Rajveer joins them and asks everyone what is going on. Rishabh tells him not to worry because little arguments arise in all households.
Shanaya Puts Up An Act
Rakhi has been telling Nidhi that she has wanted Palki to be Shaurya’s wife ever since they first met, but she is equally pleased to have her as Rajveer’s wife because he is also her grandchild. Shanaya, in the meantime, is taken aback by Luthra’s support and attempts to snag it by being naive and submissive. She regretfully folds her hand and apologizes, saying she has no idea what she ate or drank to get her so inebriated and confiding in Shaurya about her sentiments, telling him that he is not to blame and that they shouldn’t be reprimanding him.
Rakhi tells Shanaya that she should go home and inform Daljeet that Rakhi really likes her while expressing sympathy for Shanaya’s situation and agreeing with Nidhi that she is undoubtedly a girl from the middle class. Rakhi continues to explain that Daljeet shouldn’t hunt for males for her since she would be Shaurya’s wife, while Nidhi stares at her in confusion.
