Preeta feels compelled to object when Karan pays her and Shrishti’s bills at the reception. Karan, however, goes after Preeta’s ego by claiming that although he did nothing when Preeta withheld the news of Rajveer from him, he fails to comprehend why she chose not to inform him of Shrishti’s health. When the doctor arrives, he informs Karan that his DNA reports are ready, which prompts Karan to open them right away. When Karan learns Rajveer is his biological son, he experiences mixed emotions.

The following episode opens with Rajveer attempting to approach Palki and comfort her while Palki and everyone else anxiously await Kavya.
