6. Acting In TV
Sharad made his TV debut from the serial ‘Akrosh’ in 2004 which aired on Doordarshan. His work was appreciated a lot and he became widely recognized. Thereafter, many other directors and serial makers approached him for serials. He appeared in many serials like Bhabhi, CID, Sindur there Naam Ka, Bairi Piya. He became even more famous from the serial ‘Uttaran’ in 2011. Sharad was also offered major roles in web-series such as ‘The Family Man’, ‘Rangbaaz Phirse’.
7. Acting In Films
Sharad made a break in Bollywood with the film ‘Hulchul’ in 2004 in the role of Dr. Sattu. In 2005, he appeared in the Marathi film ‘Uttarayan’. His role in the Marathi film ‘Chinu’ as Raj in 2012 helped him in becoming a prominent actor in the film industry. Next to it, in 2013 he performed a cameo role in the film ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela’ by Sanjay Leela Bansali. He appeared as the main antagonist in the film ‘Lai Bhari’ as Sangram in 2014 and established himself. Thereafter he enacted in many Marathi films like ‘Sangarsh Yatra’, ‘Rakshas’, ‘Madhuri’, and ‘Youngraad’ in 2018. Recently, he played the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the movie Tanhaji The Unsung Warrior and a titular role in the movie Laxmii. His roles were highly appreciated by the audiences.
8. Comedian
Sharad got comic roles for the film ‘Hulchul’. In 2010 he participated in the comedy serial ‘Comedy Circus Mahasangram’ with Bharti Singh and Paresh Ganatra.
9. A Great Host
Sharad has hosted many reality shows like ‘Rock-N-Roll’ in 2007. He also hosted a show named ‘Shaitan – A Criminal’ Mind in 2012.
10. Voice Dubbing
Sharad Kelkar has a very strong voice. Since 2014 he has dubbed many popular English movies in Hindi. Some of the most famous movies that Sharad Kelkar dubbed are Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Guardians of the Galaxy, The fate of the Furious, X-Man, and many others.
