, it is another of Disney’s most awaited movies of this year, The Lion King hits the theatres today. The Lion King is a remake of the 1994 animated movie by the same name. This adventure drama has awe-inspiring moments because of the brilliant visual effects and flawless 3D effects. The Hindi version of The Lion King has a voice casts like Shahrukh Khan, Shreyas Talpade, Sanjay Mishra, Ashish Vidyarthi, Shernaz Patel, Achint Kaur, and Neha Gargawa. Shahrukh Khan son Aryan Khan has lent his voice for the character Simba.

The Lion King is based on the animated movie ‘The Lion King’ of 1994. It is the story of a young lion prince Simba (Aryan Khan) who is born to King Mufasa (Shahrukh Khan) and Queen Sarab (Shernaz Patel) in the great African Savanna. Simba is introduced to the entire animals of Savanna gathered at Pride Rock by Rafiki. The name of the kingdom for Hindi audiences as ‘Gaurav Bhoomi’. King Mufasa explains the responsibilities of kingship and the ‘circle of life’ to Simba. But, Scar (Ashish Vidyarthi) King Mufasa’s younger brother is not happy as he wants to become the King. So he plots the exit of Mufasa and Simba.

The life of Simba gets changed when his father is murdered. He gets manipulated by his uncle Scar and leaves the kingdom. Simba meets his new funny friends Timon (Shreyas Talpade) and Pumbaa (Sanjay Mishra). Simba learns the mantra of ‘Hakuna Matata’, and transforms his living style into a street-side ordinary being. The childhood love of Simba, Nala (Neha Gargawa) makes him realize the importance him and how much his kingdom needs him.

The new style of animations, and flawless 3D effects do full justice to this movie. The Hindi version will surely exceed your expectations. Yes, Shahrukh Khan as King Mufasa is the big reason to opt for the Hindi version. King Khan will not disappoint you. His voice as Mufasa has been rendered beautifully. Aryan Khan as Simba is very well placed as his voice texture and innocence makes you feel connected with it. The much-needed sense of humor has been provided by Shreyas Talpade as Timon and Sanjay Mishra as Pumbaa. Director Jon Favreau did a great job in executing this story with freshness. The background score of the movie is amazing. The visual effects will make you feel that you are watching a real wildlife story.

The Lion King will bring back your childhood memories. The characters will make you feel connected with them. This childhood classic should not be missed. Watch the Hindi version and you will surely deep down into the saga of your childhood memories. The Lion King gets 3.5 stars from 5.
