Madhumita Biswas is excited about her new movie Sakshi. An actress Madhumita Biswas, who was last seen in the movie Suspense opposite Vikram Mastal, will be next seen in the upcoming Bollywood movie Sakshi. Recently she talked about her struggle and journey with Cinetales. Madhumita Biswas came from a small town and spoke about how she decided to become an actress. She told,
I am a small-town girl with big dreams from Nawapara Rajim. It is near Raipur, Chattisgarh. Since childhood, I always had an interest in acting, dancing, and singing. I always wanted to be an artist so I made creative things like dancing, singing, painting, and music as my hobbies.
When asked, as you belong to a small town, was your family supportive enough to allow you to pursue your career in the entertainment industry? To this, Madhumita replied,
Well, honestly my father was very strict about my studies. He always wants me to concentrate on my studies so I have finished my Masters in Biotechnology first. Then somehow I convinced my parents to allow me to chase my dreams and joined an acting class in Nagpur.
Madhumita shared how she shifted to Mumbai, she said,
After a year of acting class, I along with my family shifted to Mumbai. It is around 4 years back. My eyes had a dream of becoming an actor. I have absolutely zero experience in the film industry and the city of Mumbai was also new to me.
How did you get your first break? To this, Madhumita answered,
After giving several auditions, fortunately, after hard work and efforts, I got my first serial Pavitra Bandhan. It was followed by Itna Karo Naa Mujhe Pyar, Ye Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, and TV, Biwi Aur Main. I have also done several commercials, modeling, print shoots, ramp walk. Later I also achieved to be in Top 5 in Miss Maharashtra pageant and Won Miss Catwalk title in Bright Perfect Miss India.
Talking about how she got the first movie, Madhumita told,
One blessed day I went for a movie audition and got selected for a screen test and cleared it too. This is how I got my first movie Suspense. Ajay Sir my director and producer saw my acting skills and dedication. He was impressed with my dedication and also offered me the second movie Sakshi.
Madhumita also opened up about her character in her upcoming movie. She said,
I am playing the character of Prachi in the film Sakshi. My role is very interesting. I am quite confident about this role because my director Ajay Ji has groomed me well for this. He was confident about me. The movie will release soon once the theatres reopen.
