The movie was released in Chennai, breaking the records of Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam which earned 25 lakh on its day one. After the TFPC strike ended the movie was released in Chennai where the audience showed a positive review. The Ticket Windows were stuffed and all the shows went houseful earning 27 lakh in Chennai.

This is the first movie of Kiara Advani with the South star Mahesh Babu who plays the character of a CM in the movie. Not only the movie, but this fresh pair is also being praised by the audience a lot. Mahesh Babu is seen doing a great acting. His character is strong and he totally transforms himself from a guy next door to being a minister with Vision. His character is fearless and implementation all the right things that a minister should be doing for its people.
