The story takes you in a narrative way where Prakash Raj, the father of Sandeep Unnikrishnan in the film takes you on a journey of his son.
Saiee Manjrekar portrayed the role of Isha Agarwal, who is a childhood lover of Sandeep Unnikrishnan. The story takes you to the terrorist attack that happens at Taj Hotel on 26/11. Sandeep Unnikrishnan was part of the NSG and has been assigned the task to save civilians inside the hotel. Sobhita Dhulipala, who plays a businesswoman Pramoda shows how much people were terrified during that time. How will Sandeep saves the life of people, watch this courageous story to find out?

Adivi Sesh has done brilliant work in the role of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. He got into the skin of the character. He himself wrote the script and screenplay of the film. It is not just based on the 2 days of the terror attack. It will take you on the journey of Sandeep Unnikrishnan. Director Sashi Kiran Tikka has brought the life of Sandeep Unnikrishnan to the big screen. He has perfectly brought out the emotions, bravery, actions, and romance in the film. The first half is mostly on the personal life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. The second half is gripping and takes you inside the Taj Hotel where terrorists have hijacked the civilians. Prakash Raj and Revathy are superb in their roles. The actions have been choreographed amazingly. Saiee Manjrekar looked beautiful. The background music of the film gives you goosebumps.
Major is a film that tells you the courageous story of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. It tells you the bravery of his parents who are proud of their son’s achievements. It is high on emotions, bravery, and sentiments. Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan went on to receive the Ashok Chakra posthumously for his bravery in what was India’s 9/11 moment. It is a film that deserves to be watched in theatres and should not be missed. We give it 4.5 stars out of 5.
