As the movie draws closer, Ethan sends Grace (Hayley Atwell) to get the key’s two halves from the Orient Express. When given the chance to sell the keys and gain millions of dollars while donning the White Widow mask (Vanessa Kirby), she decides not to. The keys are kept for Ethan by her. He takes the keys from her during a fight with Gabriel (Esai Morales), though.

On top of the train, Ethan and Gabriel are fighting. Although Ethan wants to murder Gabriel for killing Ilsa (Rebecca Ferguson), he lets him go since Gabriel knows where The Entity is. They won’t ever be able to find it without him. Gabriel explodes the bridge the train is about to cross as soon as he exits the train because he believes he still possesses the key.

Everyone is miraculously saved by Ethan and Grace, who also discover Paris (Pom Klementieff) in a critical condition. She was the target of Gabriel’s attack because he thought she would turn on him and inform Ethan about The Entity. She tells Ethan about Sevastopol, the Russian submarine where the AI is located, as she begins to pass out. There is a chance that Paris will return in the next movie because we never see her die.

Luther (Ving Rhames) has been working quietly to decipher The Entity’s code in the meanwhile. He must temporarily vanish to advance in the game because he can’t do it while any technology can still detect him. In the upcoming film, he will return and team up with Ethan and Benji (Simon Pegg).

Since they only have one parachute, Ethan exits the train first while Grace meets with Eugene Kittridge (Henry Czerny) to be admitted into the IMF. Informing him of “the choice” Ethan had given her, she formally joins the IMF.

When Ethan touches down, he runs into Benji. He gave Benji the key, and the two of them went in quest of The Entity. The plot will be continued in Dead Reckoning Part Two. Therefore, the movie finishes on a cliffhanger. Post-credits sequences are absent in this movie.
