Neerja 14th August 2023 Written Episode Update: Abeer Learns About Protima

Abeer begins the episode by asking Neerja what she was thinking. Meanwhile, Neerja is overjoyed to see Protima arrive; she approaches her and hugs her. Everyone is watching them as they become emotional. Upon witnessing Protima, Abeer inquires about her, to which Didun responds that she is Protima, the cook at their home. Abeer meets her and attempts to seek her blessing by falling on her feet. Protima inquires as to what he is up to, son. Abeer claims she is calling him her son and that he must accept blessings. Abeer Meets Protima

Protima says she prepared food for the ritual and invited them to sit. She serves it to Abeer, who wonders why she isn’t serving anything to Neerja. Protima informs her that she has prepared something special for her and feeds her sweet parathas. Neerja gets happy and eats it with delight.

Abeer also tries it and takes Protima’s hand in his to compliment her cooking ability. He notices she is seriously ill and orders her to sit down to be treated. He chastises Didun for forcing her to labor in this condition. Did wonders what she can do because Protima doesn’t listen to her. Protima and Neerja both agree with her, stating that Protima prioritizes others over herself. Abeer offers to take Protima home, but she claims she’s fine where she is.

Bijoy Mocks Didun

In the later part of the episode, Didun follows Bijoy out the door and is mocked by him for taking advantage of his son’s condition and stealing money from him. Didun cautions him not to insult her because he will have to pay a high price in return.

Meanwhile, Abeer and Neerja look after Protima, and Neerja informs Protima of Pishi Ma’s condition. She is confident in her ability to succeed.

The Dreaded Visit To Sonagachi

Later, Abeer returns home delighted, as Neerja did after her stay. He suggests that Pishi Ma go there one day, and she agrees. Pishi Ma inquires as to why Bijoy is furious. Meanwhile, Kaushik and Munmun are upset over being forced to visit Sonagachi.

Pishi Ma recoils at the mention of Sonagachi, and Bijoy explains that the path must travel through Sonagachi. Pishi Ma warns him never to do it again. As a result, Bijoy now believes that forming a bond with the Sonagachi people, even if it is a phony one, was a mistake. Protima tells Sartak about Abeer’s behavior with her Maasi and wants to do anything to aid him in return. She believes that his pain may be his solution, and she decides to learn more about Trisha.
