Taking to her Instagram on March 27, Neha shared a series of posts explaining her situation in Melbourne. She pointed out that while people questioned her for being three hours late, no one bothered to ask why. She was silent at first, not wanting to blame anyone, but now feels the need to share the truth. She told the audience the shocking truth that the event organizers ran away, taking not just her payment but also money from others involved in the concert. This led to chaos behind the scenes.

Neha shared that her band members were left without basic facilities such as food, hotel rooms, and even drinking water. Her husband, Rohanpreet Singh, and his team had to step in to arrange food for them. The sound vendor refused to set up because he wasn’t paid, and that caused the delay. She wrote,

“Do you know our sound check got delayed by hrs coz the sound vendor was not paid and he refused to put the sound on. And when, after so much of delay, our sound check started, I could not reach the venue, couldn’t do the sound check, we did not even know if the concert is happening coz the organisers stopped picking my manager’s calls coz apparently they were running away from the sponsors n everyone. Though there’s still a lot to share but I guess this is enough,”

Neha Kakkar Performed For Free In Melbourne!

Even after all this trouble, Neha still went on stage and performed for her fans without rest, without a sound check, and without knowing if the show would even happen. She did it all for free just to make sure her audience wasn’t disappointed. She added,

“Do you all know that I performed absolutely Free for my Melbourne audience? The organisers ran away with my money and others too. My band was not even given food, hotel and even water. My husband and his boys went and provided them food.”

“Inspite of all this we still went on stage and did the show without any rest or anything bcz there my fans were waiting for hrs for me.”

Neha Kakkar also expressed deep gratitude to her fans, especially to her loyal ‘Nehearts’ for always standing by her side. She also thanked everyone who supported her, those who spoke up for her, and the audience who stayed, cried, and danced with her that night.

“For now, this is enough,” she said, hinting that there is even more to the story.
