Nimrat Kaur is one of the most beautiful actresses in Bollywood. She was last seen in the web series ‘The Test Case.’ Nimrat Kaur is returning to Hindi movies after a gap of five years. She was seen opposite Akshay Kumar in the movie Airlift. Now, she is working in the movie Dasvi opposite Abhishek Bachchan and Yami Gautam. The shooting of the movie is already completed. The first look of the film is already out. Nimrat Kaur will be playing the role of Bimla Devi in the movie.
The shooting was almost completed, but the second pandemic wave halted the last few days of the shoot, but now it is completed. Talking about it, Nimrat Kaur told Bombay Times,
“This role was something totally unprecedented; I didn’t think we would actually end up breaking up the schedule a few days short of completing the film. It was an unforeseen and unfortunate time when people suffered so much and lost so many loved ones. We had to pack up and get back home when I was only a few days away from wrapping up all the work on it. It was cathartic to come back to what we started in February-March this year. I completed it in July-August. That defines the nature of the times we are in. The good part is that this film was also some sort of an experience of coming back to life and experiencing some kind of normalcy in life. The idea of normalcy is being redefined in many ways.”

Nimrat Kaur added,
“The part was tiny but crucial. So, I had to hold on to all that I had learned and prepared for my role. I didn’t want to mix up the thoughts I had for this film and the mindset I was in with another project. So, now that we’re done, I can start figuring out what I want to do next.”
Nimrat Kaur is playing the role of a politician in Dasvi. Talking about her role, she said,
“I have never played a part like this before – this is from a family of characters that I have never played before. Every actor has a type of part that comes to them often. Dasvi took me into uncharted, unexplored territory. I have never felt more challenged while doing a role. It was the most joyous and unabashed fun journey with a character for me. She’s an unlikely, circumstantial politician – the situation pushes her to become one. There is not one dull moment in her life.”
Nimrat Kaur is one of the most talented and finest actresses in the industry. Whether it was a movie, The Lunchbox, Airlift, or even the web series The Test Case, the way she performed her role was genuinely outstanding. She was also seen in Homeland, an American television series.
