About The Film Pichaikkaran 2

The synopsis of the movie is that a poor guy with a difficult background becomes the target of illicit brain replacement surgery, forcing him to live in the shoes of a wealthy millionaire. Pichaikkaran 2 is an independent sequel to Pichaikkaran, released in 2016. In the sequel, Vijay Antony portrays millionaire Vijay Gurumoorthy and a beggar named Sathya. Also, the concept of putting a poor guy in the shoes of a wealthy one is an old cliche of a double-action film. Moreover, the script doesn’t offer him much room to act. Regardless one of the oldest themes of double-action movies, and the astonishingly basic approach, is putting a poor guy in the shoes of a lavish one. Pichaikkaran 2 is a poor start, but Vijay Antony can achieve better.

Pichaikkaran 2 tries to help the impoverished members of society. The first half features an intriguing screenplay shot on a green mat with VFX, while the second half features an anti-Bikili worldview.

Vijay Antony’s acting is strong, the villain roles are adequate, and the supporting soundtrack and cinematography help the film go forward. The editing is precise and elegant, and the picture manages to keep us entertained for an average viewing.
