Aligarh Muslim University conducts a seminar on peace. It is to choose the world peace leader. Meanwhile, Kabeer and Saima attend the seminar and take care of the hospitality. They are madly in love with each other. Kabeer stays at the hostel and Saima is a local student. Additionally, Kaira Singh and Aryan Khanna also participated in the seminar.
Coincidentally, they get to stay in the same guest house. Moving ahead, a bittersweet battle begins between the two. Later on, they fall for each other and when Kaira goes to propose to him, she is shocked by what Aryan is saying to his friend. She then decides to not have Aryan in her life. It is a modern-day love story that tries to redefine love for today’s generation. It seems to be a contemporary love story that depicts modern perspectives on love very emotionally. Additionally, the film’s title song that plays in the background sets the movie’s tone. Furthermore, Bhavya Sachdeva in the role of Aryan Khanna plays his character with perfection.
Ankita Sahu in the lead role of Kayra Singh also does a good job in PKDN. Kanika Gautam as Saima Jamal adds the necessary depth to the narrative. Achal Tankwal plays the role of Kabeer and will surely win you over with his performance. Apart from them Deepti Mishra and Namita Lal also did a great job. Moving ahead, the music of the movie is unique and brings in the emotion even more. Director Danish Javed perfectly depicts the love story with his ideologies.
He aims to captivate the audience with the love ideologies of Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela. However, one major drawback is that the story sometimes becomes too predictable. It might also seem a bit dragged at certain scenes. Nevertheless, the plus points of the movie and character performances will take you through every emotional moment.
