Rakul Preet Singh is one of the most beautiful actresses in the entertainment industry. She worked in Kannada, Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi movies. She was last seen in the film Sardar Ka Grandson, released on the OTT platform Netflix. Now, Rakul Preet Singh has confirmed that she is working in Ronnie Screwvala’s RSVP film. She will be seen playing the role of a condom tester. The title of the movie is yet to be finalized. De De Pyaar De actress shared her thoughts on playing the challenging role of a condom tester and said she is thrilled and excited for the role. Tejas Deoskar will be directing this movie and said Rakul Preet would be seen in an experimental role.
As per the reports, Rakul Preet will essay the role of a young girl who is a “condom tester” – an employee who works for condom brands to test the quality of their products before they are released in the market. Talking about the role, Rakul Preet Singh told Spotboye,
“It’s very exciting and I am very thrilled about that film because it’s important to sort of highlight some issues in a light-hearted way and that has got me pretty excited. But for now, that will happen towards the end of the year.”
Director Tejas Deoskar also told about the project and said,
“Our film is a social family entertainer, which aims at destigmatizing the use of condoms and for this one, I always believed Rakul was the best suited for the character. She brings freshness to every role that she portrays and with a sensitive, thought-provoking subject like this, she was our first choice. Rakul was thrilled when she was approached for the film. She heard the narration and immediately agreed to do it.”
Tejas Deoskar had earlier directed a Marathi movie Bucket List stars, Madhuri Dixit. Rakul Preet has several projects with her. She will be seen in upcoming movies like Attack opposite John Abraham, Doctor G opposite Ayushmann Khurrana, MayDay opposite Ajay Devgn and Amitabh Bachchan, and Thank God opposite Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra.
