Saumya Tandon, who played the famous character of Anita bhabi in the sitcom Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! has quit the show in August 2020. She had portrayed the role of Anita Bhabi for over five years. Now, Nehha Pendse replaced Saumya Tandon in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! Many people praise Nehha Pendse for her looks, while some of them trolled her as well. Now, one of the main protagonists Rohitashv Gour who plays the character of Manmohan Tiwari, feels Nehha will be able to carry the character of Anita bhabi with ease. Talking to IANS, Rohitashv talked about Nehha Pendse playing the role of Anita bhabi. He told,
“Definitely, Nehha Pendse will justify the role. She has a good personality. There will be differences with Saumya Tandon, but she’ll do justice to the role. Nehha is an intelligent and experienced actress and has been working since childhood. There’s no doubt she is a versatile actress. I can say it as I’ve started shooting with her. Saumya ji and I had amazing chemistry, no doubt about that. I will always miss her.”
It was necessary as the fun banter between Manmohan Tiwari and Anita Bhabi was one of the USPs for the show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!. It was important for the show to resume the track soon. Rohitashv Gour added,
“Since Anita Bhabi left the show, the storyline was impacted. I would say it became one-sided because the main track in the show is about my love for Anita Bhabhi, who is my neighbor while Vibhuti Ji loves Angoori. The loving track of Anita Bhabi and Tiwari ji was hugely missed by the audience, too.”
On asked whether the chemistry can be created again? Rohitashv Gour told,
“The chemistry can be created again. When the first Angoori (Shilpa Shinde) left the show, everyone said no one would be able to take her place but Shubhangi Atre ji has settled in really well. Now people think of her as Angoori. The Indian audience is very flexible. As far as our characters are concerned everything will be the same as it was with Saumya so that the audience gets the same content and punches as they were getting before.”
We agree with Tiwariji because the way Nehha played the role of Sanjana Hiteshi in the comedy serial ‘May I Come In Madam?’ was outstanding. We feel she will do full justice with the role of Anita bhabi in Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain! What do you guys think? Let us know in the comments below.
