Since the film’s premiere, Prabhas and his action-packed blockbuster, Salaar, have dominated the box office. Even with advance reservations, the picture brought enormous sums of money. With an overall collection of 48.94 crore, the action blockbuster outperformed Leo, which had the best 2023 advance booking total of 46.10 crore.
Salaar Box Office Updates
But it appears the movie was a hit, grossing a ton of money at the box office during the Christmas weekend. Now that the beast has been subdued, things will likely be peaceful and bright after Christmas.
The movie has plummeted by a staggering 61% for the fifth-day advance booking, with only a 5.35 gross collection at the box office. Call it the working day effect or just an average quiet. This could result from a typical workday following a long weekend or a relaxed day following the Christmas holiday.
During the Christmas holiday, the action movie grossed an advance of 13.64 crore on the fourth day. Nonetheless, the movie brought in a net total of almost 45 crore in India, of which 13.50 crore came from the Hindi version.
Salaar Day 5 Advance Booking
Following the Christmas holiday, the fifth day saw a 61% decrease in advance bookings compared to the day before, with a gross collection of 5.35 crore from 2.75 lakh tickets sold for nearly 14,000 concerts.
Almost 3.2 crore of the 5.35 crore gross collection for the fifth day in advance comes from the Telugu version and 1.3 crore from the Hindi version, out of the 62 thousand tickets sold for approximately 7,000 events throughout the nation.
It would be fascinating to observe whether this is really the storm’s aftermath calmness or the drop before another storm intensifies in preparation for the New Year. Salaar is currently valued at about 250 crores in India, and on Tuesday, it hopes to reach the 300 crore club. In four days, the Hindi version made about 65 crore out of the total. With a 92 crore opening weekend, the movie became the highest-grossing Indian opener of 2023.
