In an Indian TV show, ‘Aap ki Adalat,’ actor Salman Khan expressed his desire to become a dad. However, the Indian law did not allow him to be one. He also admires his fellow director, Karan Johar, for adopting two children but says that the laws have changed now. Salman Khan talked to Rajat Sharma in his show Aap Ki Adalat.
Salman Khan – A Bachelor
Salman Khan, one of Bollywood’s most loved and celebrated actors, has always to be a bachelor. This fact is fascinating to almost his fans and followers. He has been asked the same question about marriage many times. However, his answer remains the same. Known for his charming personality and good looks, Salman has been linked to several high-profile actresses and models but has never tied the knot.
Salman’s choice to be a bachelor has made him a sort of an enigma in Indian society, where marriage is traditionally viewed as a milestone achievement. Nevertheless, his fans continue to adore him and eagerly anticipate his next blockbuster film.
Salman Khan’s Philanthropic Work
Besides his incredible blockbuster movies, Salman Khan is also famous for his philanthropic work. In 2007, he founded ‘Being Human’, which focuses on healthcare and education initiatives for underprivileged children in India. The organization also supports various other causes, such as disaster relief efforts and animal welfare. Being Human is a very well-known brand with a great cause.
Salman Khan has received recognition and awards because of his philanthropic work. He was awarded the Rajiv Gandhi Award for contributing to the entertainment industry and his humanitarian efforts. He has also been appointed as the goodwill ambassador for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in India.
Salman Khan Wants To Be A Dad
It is evident by his social work that Salman admires children. In ‘Aap ki Adalat,’ Salman expressed his desire to be a father. He said,
“Abhi kya bolu woh toh plan tha. Plan tha. Bahu ka nahi tha, baccha ke tha. Lekin ab woh law ke hisaab se woh toh Hindustan mein ho nahi sakta. Toh ab dekhenge kya kare.”
“What to say, that was the plan. It wasn’t for a daughter-in-law; it was for a child. But according to the Indian laws, it’s not possible. Now we’ll see what to do.”
Salman Khan also made a remark on the filmmaker, Karan Johar, being a bachelor and a dad. He said,
“Wahi main koshish karraha tha lekin woh law shayad change hogaya hai. Toh ab dekhenge. Bachchon ka bada shaukh hai mujhe. I love kids. Lekin kids jab aate hai toh maa bhi aati hai. Maa unke liye bohut acchi hai, lekin humare ghar mein maa hi maa padi hai sir. Humare paas pura zila hai, pura gaon hai. Woh unka accha khayal rakh lengi. Lekin unki maa, jo real maa hongi, woh meri patni hogi.”
(That’s what I was trying to do. But, that law may have changed, so let’s see. I am very fond of children. But when kids come then their mother also comes. A mother is good for them but we have a lot of mothers at home. We have the whole district, the whole village. They will take care of them. But my kid’s real mother will also be my wife.)

Salman Khan was last seen in the film Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The film was met with positive to mixed reviews. However, Praneet Samaiya from Cinetales called the film a family entertainer. In his review, Praneet Samaiya wrote,
“Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is a typical Salman Khan film with loads of action and family values. If you are a fan of Bhaijaan then KKBKKJ is for you. It is an action-packed family entertainer with some powerful dialogues, peppy dance numbers, emotions, and family drama.”
Salman will next be seen reprising his role of Tiger in Maneesh Sharma’s Tiger 3. This Diwali, the film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu. Tiger 3 also stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi.
