The actor Naga Chaitanya’s film Thandel was released in theatres on February 7. It is directed by Chandoo Mondeti. The film described the fishermen as residents of Vizag who spent a fishing trip in Gujarat for a month. The fishermen ended up being arrested after moving beyond the international border which became a dark and painful period in their existence.
Naga Chaitanya presents this influential story to cameras through Thandel while showcasing the determination of fishermen against their hard times.
