We all know that Sara was set to enter Bollywood with the movie Kedarnath starring with Sushant Singh Rajput. There were rumors about the movie being shelved, however, the producers confirmed that the film is under production and will hit the theaters earlier in the next year. Besides that, Sara Ali Khan has bagged a big project and now she will make her Bollywood debut with Ranveer Singh starrer, Simmba.

There were also rumors that the internet sensation, Priya Prakash Varrier will make her debut with Ranveer Singh’s Simmba but the producers officially announced that Sara will be the leading lady opposite to Ranveer in the movie. On their twitter handle, they wrote, “All your speculations end here! Presenting to you the leading lady of #Simmba opposite @RanveerOfficial – #SaraAliKhan! Roaring to cinemas near you on 28th December 2018”.

Not Exactly A Remake Of “Temper”

Sources say that the Ranveer Singh starrer, Simmba will be the official remake of the Tollywood movie “Temper”. Director Rohit Shetty talked about it and said, “We have bought the rights of Temper but our film is not exactly a remake. We wanted to take four-five scenes from Temper but we thought it’s better to buy the rights. It’s what we did with Singham.”

 

Ranveer Singh Is Also Excited For It

It will be the first time when we see Ranveer in the role of a cop. He is excited about it and he said, “Sangram Bhale Rao aka Simmba… He is a cop in the film. I am really very excited about collaborating with Rohit Shetty, more than anyone else. He is the king of masala films, which are loved more than any other films. So this is something I believe I was born to do and I am looking forward to it.”
