Savi Movie Review

Savi focuses on how a woman can go to any extent to fight for her husband. Abhinav Deo did fine with the direction and kept the film interesting. Additionally, the background score also elevates the narrative. Aseem Arora also did an excellent job with the dialogues. All in all, the film keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Moving ahead, regarding the character performances, Anil Kapoor is exceptional in his role. He is terrific in the unique way he approaches certain scenes. He is truly the major plus point of the cast. Divya Khossla’s expressions, tears, fears, and vulnerabilities clearly show the effort she has put in. She has made the character of Savi hers with her exceptional and top-notch performance.

Additionally, Harshvardhan Rane is competent and truly expressive with his expressions and dialogues. Maheshwari is also fine in her cameo role, and other supporting actors are good in their cameos too. Meanwhile, the plot has the spark to thrill but several scenes seem to be a lot similar to the original ones. Another thing missing in the movie is the depth which could have been achieved by exploring the main characters’ backstories. Moreover, a little faster narrative would have made the entire experience a lot better. Nevertheless, several technical aspects and the cast performances make up for the flaws.

Overall, Savi is a good watch if you are a fan of thrillers. The connection between Divya Khossla and Harshvardhan Rane is quite interesting to watch out for. Although it is predictable at times, it still deserves a watch for its uniqueness. We rate this movie 3.5 out of 5 stars.
