The movie poster for Savi was released by Netflix India on their Instagram handle on July 26. Releasing the poster the streaming giant announced the OTT release of the film. Revealing the storyline in brief, Netflix captions the announcement as, “A prison escape locked with suspense, sentiment and heart. All lines get blurred in this edge of the seat thriller. Watch Savi, now on Netflix!”
About Savi, The Intense Action Thriller
The movie’s main character is Savi, who resides in Liverpool with her kid Aditya and husband Nakul. They live in a typical Indian home, which is happy and loving. However, when the police arrest Nakul for supposedly killing his boss, their lives take a complete 180-degree turn.
Still, it appears that he is being falsely accused of the murder. Additionally, his appeal is denied, and he is given a life sentence. Savi’s quest to get her husband back starts here. Then, seeing that the law is not on her side, she decides to take charge of getting him out of jail. The storyline gives a perfect pitch to the audience.
The Astounding Performance
The picture was kept fascinating by director Abhinav Deo, who performed a good job. Furthermore, the narrative is elevated by the background score. Apart from the other seemingly astounding aspects of the film, the one element that shines the most is the cast performance.
Aseem Arora performed superbly in the dialogues as well. Going forward, Anil Kapoor gives a fantastic portrayal of the character. He does a fantastic job at approaching some scenes in a different way. Divya Khossla has given the role of Savi her own with her outstanding and superb performance. She, additionally, demonstrates her effort via her expressions, tears, worries, and vulnerabilities. Furthermore, Harshvardhan Rane’s conversation and expressions are skillful and authentically expressive.
