Shah Rukh Khan is back with a bang. After four years, Shah Rukh Khan made a comeback. His last release was Zero, opposite Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in 2018. Directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathaan is fully loaded with powerful actions, style, stunts, thrills, and surprises. The advance booking of the film was terrific, and the Day 1 collection is INR 57 crore in India, with INR 55 crore in Hindi and INR 2 crore in Tamil and Telugu.
First Bollywood Film To Get 100 Crore Opening
Pathaan also became the first Bollywood film to get over INR 100 crore worldwide opening. Pathaan collected a gross INR 106 crore at the worldwide box office on Day 1. RRR is the highest Indian opener at the worldwide box office, with a gross of INR 223 crore. It is followed by Baahubali 2 with INR 213 crore gross at the worldwide box office. KGF Chapter 2 is third on the list with INR 163 crore gross.
Pathaan Day 2 Collection
With the national holiday, Republic Day, Pathaan has brought the houseful board back to the cinema halls. If numbers on Day 1 are significant, Day 2 numbers are massive. Pathan has collected INR 125 crore worldwide gross on Day 2.
In India, Pathaan collected around INR 70 crore on Day 2. The first Bollywood film to achieve this feat on a single day. It is the highest single day collection ever for any Bollywood film.
Shah Rukh Khan has been impressive, and Deepika Padukone is stunning in Pathaan. However, it is John Abraham who has been exceptional. His anti-hero role will remind you of Dhoom. We wish to see a standalone film on John Abraham’s character. We can probably see a spin-off in War 2 alongside Hrithik Roshan. Pathaan will break many box office records during its tenure.

The advance booking of Day 3, non-holiday, is also excellent, with around INR 15 crore. Even Day 3 will cross INR 30 crore at the Indian box office. Pathaan is on the verge of becoming the all-time’s biggest blockbuster Bollywood film.
