The trailer of Shahid Kapoor’s much-awaited movie Jersey was launched today on November 23, 2021. Actors Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur, director Gowtam Tinnanuri, and producers Allu Aravind, Dil Raju, and Aman Gill were present at the event. Shahid Kapoor’s last movie Kabir Singh was a blockbuster. Now, he is back with another Telugu movie Jersey.
The trailer looks impressive, with Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur stealing the limelight. Pankaj Kapoor is also left his presence felt in the trailer. The audience appreciates the trailer and applauds the performance of Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur.

In the trailer launch, Shahid Kapoor has made some startling revelations about the journey between Kabir Singh and Jersey. Shahid Kapoor said,
“After Kabir Singh was released, I went like a beggar to everybody. I went to all these people who’ve made these 200-250 crore films. I’ve never been a part of this club, so it was completely new to me. Having spent 15-16 years in the industry, I never had such a huge grosser. So, when it finally happened, I didn’t know where to go, it was all new to me.
You could say, I tried my best not to do this (Jersey, which he was offered before doing Kabir Singh). So, credit to Gowtam (Gowtam Tinnanuri, the Director) for still working with me, waiting for me, and I’m so happy I did this. I can safely say this is my best film yet.”
Director Gowtam Tinnanuri also talked about the movie during the launch of the trailer. He added,
“The best thing I’ve done in my career till now is working with Shahid Kapoor. And even after the massive success of Kabir Singh, he didn’t change a bit, was totally into the story and character, and was amazing to work with.”
