First Look Of Shamshera, Ranbir Kapoor Is Looking Deadly As A Dacoit

Recently, Ranbir Kapoor shocked everyone with his amazing look in the movie Sanju. Moreover, he left everyone including Sanjay Dutt speechless after the teaser of the movie. Well, he has doubled our excitement as YRF announced a new movie and Ranbir Kapoor is playing the role of a fierce dacoit in the movie. The title of the movie is Shamshera and Ranbir Kapoor will play the titular character.

The film is announced on Twitter by Yash Raj Films and they have uploaded a video with it. The video features the first look of Ranbir Kapoorw in the movie. Ranbir looks like an old-school dacoit in the movie. The battle scars and the old school weapons adding the intensity to his look. Pursuing this further, that wild beard and locks are making him look deadly.

Seems Like A Periodic Drama

Judging by the first look, Shamshera will be a periodic movie. The tagline of the film says, “Karam Se Dacoit, Dharam Se Azad”. It can be concluded that the film will be based on the freedom, maybe during the colonization period.

Ranbir Is Exciting For It

Talking about the movie Ranbir Kapoor said, “Shamshera is exactly the film I was looking for. While growing up watching Hindi commercial cinema, I had an image of what a film hero should be doing. Shamshera allows me to do everything that I had imagined and it’s a very exciting project for me. Karan is going to take me completely out of my comfort zone and I’m looking forward to this challenge.”
