Well, with an amazing storyline, the gripping series also does a spectacular job in direction and cast performance. The uninvited twists and shocking betrayals keep the audience intact. As the plot develops, the series looks put together and doesn’t fail to impress. Showtime part 2 is more on Bollywood politics and the actor’s real life rather than nepotism.

Emraan Hashmi Showtime

Just like Part 1, Emraan Hashmi and Mahima Makwana are the soul of the series. Emraan Hashmi perfectly balances the emotions and decently carries the character. His one-liners are good. Mahima Makwana crafted her character with ease. She beautifully portrayed the character of Mahika Nandy. She is growing confidently in her character and will impress you with her performance. Mahima gives her best performance and adds to the intense environment. From losing hope to engaging with her ally she makes sure to hold the scenes in a string.

Mouni Roy Showtime

Mouni Roy gets more screen presence in Part 2 and her character has been more mature and has various elements. The series displays sensitive emotion and the credits for the same goes to Mouni Roy. Performing strong and fragile emotions, Mouni does a decent job. She brilliantly showcases her emotions, anger, and frustration. Rajiv Khandelwal is good as a self-obsessed actor and unfaithful husband. Well, adding a layer of brilliance, Rajeev Khandelwal brings out the character raw and fine. Shriya Saran has once again a limited screen presence, but her emotions are praiseworthy. Vijay Raaz as Saajan Morarka is super. His expressions and style of dialogue delivery are good.

In some parts, you may feel that the series loses its grip. But it quickly gets back to Bollywood politics and the actor’s real life. In a nutshell, the series is well-written, directed, and performed. Also, be ready for Season 2.
