Mahima Makwana and Emraan Hashmi are the soul of Showtime. The story revolves around their characters, Mahika Nandy and Raghu Khanna. Mahima played her role with utmost perfection. It is Mahima Makwana’s most significant role to date. She shines with her performance. Emraan impresses in the series, and his witty one-liners are enjoyable. He is in superb form as Raghu Khanna. Rajeev Khandelwal effortlessly embodies the role of a self-absorbed superstar. Vijay Raaz does not have much to do in Part 1. Mouni Roy, as an aspiring actor, impeccably portrays her character. She is underutilized in Part 1, and we will see more of her in Part 2. Shriya Saran, Rajeev Khandelwal’s wife, also has a limited appearance in Part 1.
Meanwhile, Naseeruddin Shah adds another layer of brilliance to the show with his impeccable portrayal. His role is limited to episode 1. Many actors and filmmakers will appear in small cameos.
