Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray officially announced the reopening of theatres in Maharashtra from 22nd October 2021. Ever since the announcement came in, many production houses have announced the release dates of their Bollywood movies. Maharashtra is the biggest market of Bollywood especially Mumbai. So the filmmakers were eagerly waiting for the theatres to reopen.
Theatres and auditoriums in Maharashtra will open after 22nd October 2021 while observing all COVID safety protocols. SOP is in the works and will be declared soon.

Rohit Shetty announced the release date of his much-awaited movie Sooryavanshi. Sooryavanshi is releasing on Diwali 2021. Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer Laal Singh Chaddha will come on Valentine’s Day, 14th February 2022. After that, as many as 17 Bollywood movies release dates are announced. Needless to say, Akshay Kumar has a maximum number of releases lined up. Here is the list of upcoming Bollywood movies and their updated release dates.
