In her recent interview, Srishty talked about her experience of being hospitalized in a foreign land, saying,  “I went to Europe towards the end of November and while I was in Paris, I got a fever, which didn’t subside even after taking medication.”

She further added, “When I was in Amsterdam, I still wasn’t feeling well. On the day I was supposed to take a flight back to India, my oxygen levels dropped and I had to be hospitalized. Although my friends were with me, it was still scary to be hospitalized in a foreign country.”

The actress faced several challenges including a language barrier, unfamiliar surroundings, and much more. Furthermore, the lack of support from family and friends can make the experience even more traumatic. Srishty was diagnosed with a serious illness and she had to go through treatment in a hospital where she did not speak the language. Her friends had to communicate with the doctors and nurses, which added to her stress and anxiety.

She said, “I was diagnosed with and had to keep an oxygen pipe with me constantly in the hospital. Things took time to stabilize. Visitors were allowed once a day and my friends could meet me just for some time. I felt alone and used to cry. After four days, I was discharged & took a flight back to India. Once back here, I had to be hospitalized for another five days.”

“Eating good food and taking care of my health is my priority now. After this experience, I am scared to travel anywhere, but I’m hoping to overcome my fear soon. I am lucky to have such a supportive family and friends. They were with me throughout my ordeal and helped me to cope with the stress and anxiety.”

It was a week ago when Srishty opened up about the shocking experience that she encountered during her recent trip and shared it on social media. She wrote, “I wanted to share something real with you all. While I’ve been posting happy moments from my Europe trip, there’s a part of the story I haven’t shared—something much harder. I got seriously sick with pneumonia while in Amsterdam, and it hit me hard. My oxygen levels suddenly dropped, and I was in the hospital, fighting so hard…scared that I’d even make it home. My condition got so bad that my visa expired before I could leave.”

She concluded by writing, “After a long struggle, I finally made it back to Mumbai, but I’m still in recovery. Pneumonia takes time, and my doctors say it could take months, but I’m pushing through. I’m still weak, but I’m hopeful and working on getting better. I want to thank everyone who reached out while I was away from social media. Your support means the world to me. I’m so grateful for all of you, and I’ll be back stronger soon 🙏🏻”
