Stree 2 breaks the 7-year-old record of Baahubali 2 (Hindi) and has the highest ever Weekend 3 ever. Also, Stree 2 has the highest third Sunday ever and only Hindi film to cross the Rs 20 crore mark on the third Sunday. The record was held by Baahubali 2 (Hindi), which collected Rs 17.75 crore. Stree 2 collected Rs 22.10 crore on Day 18, the third Sunday. In extended week 1, Stree 2 collected Rs 307.80 crore, followed by a stunning Rs 145.80 crore in week 2. On weekend 3, Stree 2 collected Rs 48.75 crore, breaking Baahubali 2 (Hindi) 7-year-old record of Rs 42.55 crore.

Stree 2 total collection crosses the Rs 500 crore mark on Day 18. The film’s total income is Rs 502.35 crore India nett. It is the only film after SRK’s Jawan to cross the Rs 500 crore mark in 18 days.

Stree 2 is the only sixth Hindi film to cross Rs 500 crore nett. Shraddha Kapoor’s film will enter an all-time top 5 India nett. It will cross Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal lifetime collection today of Rs 505 crore. Stree 2 Sarkate Ka Aatank may challenge the lifetime collection of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan of Rs 584 crore. Stree 2 has no tough competition this week as well. Kangana Ranaut’s film Emergency, scheduled to be released this week on September 6, has been postponed. It will give a boost to Stree 2 business. The chances are high that the film will enter the Top 2 by the end of Week 3.
The success of Stree 2 confirms that if the content is good and entertaining, the audience will come to theatres and multiplexes and shower their love.
