Stree 2 is the most hyped film among the three, thanks to its franchise value. Directed by Amar Kaushik, Stree 2 stars Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Aparshakti Khurana, and Abhishek Banerjee in pivotal roles. The trailer has created massive hype. Stree 2 Sarkate Ka Aatank is a perfect blend of horror and humor.
Stree 2 Story
The story starts from where the Stree I ends. Stree has now left Chanderi village. But it was written that ‘After the exit of Stree, he will come.’ Now the small town of Chanderi is being haunted by a headless creature Sarkata who is abducting girls. The villagers are shocked when Aparshakti Khurana’s girlfriend Chitti (Anya Singh) vanishes. Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, and Aparshakti Khurana find that Sarkata takes all the girls with him. They try to bring their old friend Jana (Abhishek Banerjee) to help them. When Sarkata is about to kill Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor saves him. Abhishek Banerjee, Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, and Pankaj Tripathi plan to stop Sarkata. But how will they be able to stop him? Watch the film to find out.
Stree 2 Review
Stree 2 is a perfect blend of humor and horror. Maddock Films knows how to present fresh scripts and concepts. They have excelled in this art. Dinesh Vijan’s horror universe just got huge. Director Amar Kaushik has just delivered the biggest movie of his life to date. The credit to the writer Niren Bhatt for penning such a wonderful story. The best thing is the way the horror universe films linked with this is outstanding. Amar Kaushik is a brilliant director, he knows how to make films that make you laugh and even scare you. The narrative keeps you entertained throughout.
The first half is brilliant. The introduction, build-up, comic timings, and execution are top-class. The second half feels a little dragged, but quickly gets into its rhythm. The seamless transition between comedy and horror is what makes Stree 2, a brilliant movie. Kudos to the writer and director for bringing the couple of cameos that are impactful and are not forced into the story.
Talking about the performances, the entire starcast Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Abhishek Banerjee, Pankaj Tripathi, and Aparshakti Khurana delivered fabulous performances. Every character has been penned down beautifully by the writer. The way each of the actors portrayed their roles is astonishing. Abhishek Banerjee, what a performance, outstanding. The songs are enjoyable. Sachin-Jigar’s soundtracks are fantastic. The background music is the heart of horror films and Justin Varghese did a terrific job with BGM. Do not miss the post-credit scenes. The wait for Stree 3 begins as soon as you finish Stree 2.
Final Verdict
Stree 2 has Blockbuster written all over. The horror universe just got huge, thanks to Stree 2. The brilliant storytelling, terrific performances, and lovely soundtracks make Stree 2 Sarkate Ka Aatank must must-watch. We give the film 4.5 stars out of 5.
