Sudhanshu Pandey, who is famous for portraying the role of Vanraj Shah in one of the most hyped and watched TV shows Anupamaa has quit the show. He has officially announced in an emotional video that he has quit Anupamaa.
Sudhanshu Pandey Quits Anupamaa
Recently, Sudhanshu Pandey has shown gratitude as the show brought so much change in his life. Although he played a negative character yet got a lot of love from the audience. In an Instagram Live, while interacting with his fans, Sudhanshu confirmed that he will not be seen appearing on the show anymore. He also left many fans heartbroken by his emotional announcement. He said,
“Mai pichle chaar saal se roj pahuch raha hun apke ghar ek daily soap ke jariye, ek kirdar play kar raha hu jiske liye mujhe bahut sara pyar or narazgi mili, but wo narazgi bhi ek tarike se pyar hi raha hai. Agar aap naraz na hote mere character dekh kar to mujhe lagta mai sahi tarike se nibha nahi pa raha hoon. Raksha Bandhan episode se mai show ka hissa nahi hoon, par itne din beet gaye the or meri audience mujhse naraz na ho ki ye bina bataye kaise chala gaya toh mujhe laga ye meri zimmedari hai ki mai ye baat bataun aap sab ko. Par hame jeevan me aage badhna hi padta hai to I want you all to keep loving me always in my future works.”
“For the last four years, I have been reaching out to you through a daily soap. I have played a character for which I have received immense love as well as hate. I respect all your emotions, but I want to say with a heavy heart that I am not a part of Anupama. Since Raksha Bandhan, I have not shot with them. Not playing Vanraj Shah anymore.”
While thanking his audience for all the love and support he gave a statement saying,
“The decision was sudden, but it is for better prospects in life that we have to make such choices. But I will play many different roles in the future and I hope you will give me the same love and support.”

Sudhanshu Pandey, is an Indian model, film and television actor, singer, writer, and producer. He is a multi-talented actor and a well-known singer. He has appeared in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu films. Sudhanshu was born on August 22, 1974 in Lucknow. He is happily married to Mona Pandey and has two kids Nirvana and Vivan Pandey.
Earlier this week there were rumors that Rupali Ganguly aka Anupama and Gaurav Khanna aka Anuj Kapadia might exit the show in the future. However, Rajan Shahi broke his silence and confirmed that they are very much a part of the show.
As of Sudhanshu’s exit is concerned there is no such comment from the production team of Anupamaa. Sudhanshu recently rejoined with The Band of Boys, his famous 90s band. They also released their new album Gori Again last week. Sudhanshu confirmed that a lot more is happening on the music too, and that they will be releasing the next two songs from the album very soon.
