Going back to where it all began, this advent movie grossed Rs. 29 crore in India. And ofcourse, it is safe to say it grew into a cult movie.
7. Captain America: Civil War
Another Marvel movie that garnered much curiosity and hype was definitely Civil War. The movie starring Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. collected Rs. 27.13 crore in its opening weekend.
8. Batman V Superman
Putting the DC Universe’s biggest heroes against each other, Batman Vs. Superman gathered Rs. 25.5 crore. Although the movie received mixed reviews, several fans avidely watched the film.
9. Spiderman Homecoming
Spiderman Homecoming grossed Rs. 19.2 crores and starred the new actor, Tom Holland. This was another fan favorite as well.
10. Logan
Although underrated, Marvel’s Logan starring Hugh Jackman collected Rs. 17.10 crore in its opening weekend. The movie has known to tug at fans’ heartstrings.
As you may have noticed, the list was dominated by Marvel movies, but it is no less to say that the DC movies bring in much audience as well.
