Tanaav Season 2 perfectly captures the feel of Kashmir and the story picks up right from where the first season ended. Co-directors Sudhir Mishra and Sachin Krishn deliver a bigger and more intense experience this time. The audience and sit back and enjoy the fast-paced and multi-directional narrative. This season of the series also retains much of the main storyline from the Israeli show. Additionally, the cinematography also frames each scene with a sense of urgency and reality.

Technically, this season does a better job than the previous season, immersing the audience deeper into the world it creates. Although this season may not surpass the first in brilliance, it still moves perfectly into the ever-complicated world. Meanwhile, talking about the performances, Fareed Mir, in particular, stands out as a testament to his versatility. Gaurav Arora also adds the required depth to the narrative. Additionally, Kabir as always, perfectly plays the silent yet powerful character.

Apart from them, all other characters play their parts with perfection. They each bring their light to the gripping story. One drawback of the series is its pace, which, at certain times, seems to be very slow. The first three episodes seem to linger and seem like the show struggles to wake up. The story finds its pulse and the pace improves midway through the series. When the mission finally takes place, every moment will keep you glued to the screens.

While the second season may not be as brilliant as the first one, it is still successful in keeping you gripped. Bloodshed, hope, and despair, Tanaav brings them all together. However, it also has certain flaws that seem hard to ignore. We rate the series 3 out of 5 stars.
