Tanaav is an adaptation of the popular Israeli show ‘Fauda.’ Set against the backdrop of Kashmir’s beautiful yet volatile terrain, Tanaav Season 2 Volume 2 unfurls like a gripping tale. The directors Sudhir Mishra and E. Niwas perfectly balance the narrative with every thread contributing to the tension. The story resumes seamlessly from Volume 1. With each passing episode, the narrative becomes more interesting than the previous episode. It perfectly exposes the fragility of human choices amid political, emotional, and ideological conflicts.

Manav Vij, playing the character of Kabir, will win you over with his acting skills. He perfectly channels the character’s rage into action. Gaurav Arora in the role of Fareed also handles the moments of menace and frustration with utmost perfection. Rajat Kapoor as the STG head portrays his character with the very necessary voice of calm amidst the chaos. Additionally, Sahiba Bali, Shashank Arora, and Ekta Kaul, all play their parts well.

Tensions are high in the series, but action isn’t, at least initially. The background music is intense. Some scenes get stretched and become predictable. Some of the characters are ignored. Although it takes time to build, once we get there, it is a thrilling ride. Each episode in Volume 2 ends on a cliffhanger, making the series quite an interesting watch this time around.
