In the latest chapter of Tenmaku Cinema, we learn more about Tenmaku’s past. He was born as an illegitimate son of an actress who worked under Ryu Shirakawa, and he was afraid to put his name out there because he didn’t want to be in the spotlight. However, Tenmaku’s gift for screenwriting is impossible to hide. He continuously helps revise or outright compose scripts from behind the scenes. Director Shirakawa admonished Tenmaku for being afraid to put his name out there and told him to wear his name proudly.
Hajime Shinichi is a middle schooler who has achieved a lot in his young life. He’s a strong student, has made plenty of friends, and has even taken on a benevolent ghost screenwriter to help him make a movie. This will likely be echoed when Hajime shrugs off credit if “The Shore” achieves acclaim, as he has made the movie his own even with so much help from Tenmaku.

What To Expect In Chapter 14
In Chapter 13, Hajime reflects on his achievements in filmmaking from recent chapters. He’s proud of what he’s accomplished but also knows he couldn’t have done it without Tenmaku’s help.
We also see more of Tenmaku’s past in this chapter. We learn that he came to Hajime because he came to Shirakawa when he was a child. Tenmaku was afraid to put his name out there, but Shirakawa told him to wear his name proudly. In Chapter 14, we’ll likely see Tenmaku come to terms with his past and decide to put his name out there. We may also see how Hajime and Tenmaku’s relationship evolves as they continue to work on “The Shore” together.
