Thank God Review

The writers Aakash Kaushik and Madhur Sharma kept the script and story simple. The plot is predictable. Director Indra Kumar has directed it neatly with many funny moments and a strong message about karma. The dialogues are well-written. The background score sticks to the story and compliments the story quite well. The couple of songs are recreated, Manike Mage Hithe of Sri Lankan singer Yohani Diloka De Silva and Dil De Diya Hai from Masti. Honestly, only these two songs are amazing, rest you many not even remember.

Talking about the performances, Ajay Devgn played his role decently. We have seen him in much more powerful roles than Thank God. Sidharth Malhotra did a good job as Ayaan and he looked more impressive in his performance. Rakul Preet Singh as usual looked gorgeous and played the part with sincerity. The film will remind of the 90s films as it has the flavor of 90s.

Overall, Thank God is a decent family entertainer with a beautiful message about the importance of the family. We give the film 3.5 stars out of 5. Both Ram Setu and Thank God are family entertainers with the first being more adventurous while the latter is funny. You can watch it with your family as per your like.
